Nissan prices Nismo 370Z from $39,130

Friday, July 24, 2009

At last Nissan put an end to the suspense. Almost two months after unveiling the Nissan NISMO 370Z without a price tag at the New York Auto Show, Nissan North America (NNA) has announced the price of the second-generation NISMO Z and the 2009 model will be all yours if you can shell out $39,130. Considering the high feature content and dynamic designs for that near 40 grand price tag, this is one of the best 'bang-for-the-buck' sports cars available in the market.

The car is offered in one completely equipped model (no options) with a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission and the SynchroRev Match function. The new NISMO version comes with the standard 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift Control (VVEL) that develops 350 horsepower and 276 lb-ft of torque. However, only a few accessories come with the new model which includes NISMO Carpeted Floor Mats, Illuminated Sill Plates and a Carpeted Trunk Mat. But that doesn't take the fun out of the car which was developed in the U.S. in conjunction with Japanese tuner Autech as it's worlds above its predecessor 350 Z in terms of look, feel and power.
